Description

The Regional District of North Okanagan invites tenders for project Reference No. 2026-U01, 18th, 19th, and 20th, Avenue Watermain Replacement.

The scope of work consists of the following major components:

• Supply and install approximately 58 m of 100 mm PVC DR 18 watermain;
• Supply and install approximately 345 m of 150 mm PVC DR 18 watermain;
• Supply and install approximately 123 m of 200 mm PVC DR 18 watermain;
• Remove and relocate 5 Hydrants;
• Replacement of 43 water services;
• 6 tie-ins to existing watermains; and

The works involve, but are not necessarily limited to, watermain replacement, c/w appurtenances, installation / connection of watermain services, replacement of catch basins, removals, decommissioning of existing watermain, all backfill materials, and restoration works.

Installation of a temporary watermain bypass system for each site is included as Optional Work.

A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting for all prospective tenderers will be held at 2:00PM local time, Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the intersection of 18th Avenue and 15th Street, Vernon, BC.
