Description

City of Prince George (the “City”) invites bids from qualified and experienced Contractors for the replacement of existing lighting systems within the Kin Centre Complex with a modern, energy-efficient LED technology. The primary areas of work are the Kin 1 and Kin 2 arenas, with additional spaces including change rooms, corridors, and other ancillary areas also included in the scope. There will also be scope to wire in new emergency lighting in Kin 1 arena back to a central inverter system.

The detailed scope of work has been developed by an engineering consultant and forms the basis of this Invitation to Tender. Due to operational and programming constraints at the Kin Centre Complex, the project is subject to a limited installation timeline. Access to the working areas must be closely coordinated with the City as ongoing programming activities in the Kin Centre will be occurring during the installation window.

The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the Work as required.

This solicitation may lead to sequential or concurrent negotiations with one or more Bidders offering the lowest bid(s), or to the creation of a Contract without negotiations.
