This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cariboo Regional District (CRD) (“the Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of
Excavation and Site Preparation work for New 150 Mile Volunteer Fire Department Fire Hall
The New 150 Mile Volunteer fire Department Fire Hall will be located on the same property as the exiting Fire Hall which is located at 3038 Pigeon Road, 150 Mile House, BC. The Owner intends to
complete preliminary site preparation works in advance of the Building Contractor’s scope in order to establish a generally flat, workable building area at the proposed fire hall location.
The excavation work that includes removing a bank (including existing vegetation) in order to prepare the site for the earthworks that are required for the new building (to be completed under
the Building Contractor’s Scope of Work). The earth material will need to be transported to another location on the site and the vegetation material will need to be disposed of. The scope
will also include the supply and construction of a concrete “Lego Block” retaining wall behind the new Fire Hall site
Mandatory Site Visit is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday February 09, 2026.
