Description

1. This RFPQ is open only to those Prequalified Parties who have received notification from The City prior to Submission Deadline that they are Prequalified for Prime Contractor for Safety status in the following category or categories: Buildings General Contractor C7400200.
2. The City of Calgary (the “City”) is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification to identify and shortlist up to three (3) qualified general contractors. These selected contractors will be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, through which one contractor will be awarded a Fixed Price contract for the construction of various project components located at 8500 & 8710 40 ST NE, Calgary.
3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4. Construction is anticipated commence Q3 2026 to Q4 2028
