Description

Notice is hereby given that Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Symplicity SpyralTM Renal Denervation (RDN) System and Symplicity Spyral™ multi-electrode RDN catheter for Vancouver General Hospital at an estimated value of $ 288,000.00 CAD (excluding taxes) for a term of two (2) years with one (1) option for extension of two (2) years. This Notice may be extended to other facilities and Health Authorities in British Columbia at the same pricing structure to acquire the technology within the term of the agreement.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authorities has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: the goods can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists due to an absence of competition for technical reasons.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Arman Uddin, Buyer – Cardiac Care by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, February 02, 2026.
