Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land described below and will be received until 11:00 a.m. local time on February 12, 2026, at the Laurentian Valley Municipal
Office, 460 Witt Rd., Pembroke Ontario.
The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day as soon as possible after 11:00 a.m. at the Laurentian Valley Municipal Office, 460 Witt Rd., Pembroke.
Description of Lands: Roll No. 476606602536900; 576 Bruham Avenue, Pembroke; Lot 52, JP 401 Known as 576 Bruham Avenue, Pembroke. Minimum Tender Amount: $125,000
Tenders MUST BE submitted on the prescribed form of tender and must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust
corporation payable to the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley and representing at least 20 per cent (20%) of the tender amount.
Tenders MUST BE submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Township of Laurentian Valley and clearly marked “TLV-SP-2026-01 Tender for Surplus Land” and must include the tender number
(TLV-SP-2026-01) on the envelope.
Surplus land is sold “as is, where is”. The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the successful purchaser.
The municipality makes no representation regarding the title to crown interests, or any other matters relating to the land being sold. Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with
the potential purchasers. The assessed value, according to the last returned assessment roll, may or may not be representative of the current market value of the property. The successful
purchaser shall be responsible for all costs incurred or required to acquire this property.
The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered plus accumulated taxes and any taxes that may be applicable, such as land transfer tax and HST; and shall be in addition to
and not included in the tender amount purchase price. The Township will return the deposits to unsuccessful bidders.
