Bidders are advised that there will be a MANDATORY site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, is permitted to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative AT 1770 Pink Road, Gatineau, Quebec, From there we will go to Coach Willson House and then complete the job showing at National Printing Bureau. All bidders must be present to all buildings in order to submit a bid. *Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email, and on behalf of their authorized representative including sub-contractors, to the procurement specialist named in this ITT by the date indicated in item 2.6.15 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s representative(s) being refused access to the site.* For mandatory site visits, Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. Bidders cannot use a representative from another Bidder as its authorized representative to attend the site visit.
All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site, therefore will automatically be disqualified
Failure of a Bidder to attend a mandatory Site Visit, properly register, sign the BGIS Site Visit Sign-In Sheet and remain present for the duration of the Site Visit will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Bidder’s Bid.
