Description

The North Langford Secondary School (“Project”) will be a new 2,000 student secondary school serving the fast‑growing Westshore communities. The Province of British Columbia announced the new 2,000 seat secondary school on October 1, 2025. The Board of Education of School District No 62 (Sooke) (“School District”) owns the site at 2382 City Gate Boulevard, Langford, B.C. on which the Project will be constructed (the “Project Site”) using a Design-Bid-Build (“DBB”) procurement and delivery model.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to invite submissions from qualified and experienced entities to provide architectural and multidisciplinary consulting services for the Project

Introductory Project Meeting
The School District intends to hold an introductory meeting to introduce the Project to the Proponents, and to which all interested parties will be invited. The date of this meeting will be January 26, 2026 in Langford, B.C. and is anticipated to be via a combination of in person and virtual meeting platform. It is expected that the introductory project meeting will include a tour of the Project’s Site for those attending in person.
All parties who wish to attend should complete and submit a Receipt Confirmation Form for further details. Attendance will not be mandatory.
In person attendance for the introductory project meeting will be limited to three people per Proponent Team. There will be no limit on the number of in person attendees for the Project Site tour.
