The Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities (NSFM) has received funding from the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Climate Change to provide support to “create a step-by-step guide and … checklist to navigate the bylaw development process, and support municipal decision-making in relation to the consideration of example bylaw text and other municipal tools that relate to coastal protection.” Such tools could include public risk communications, vulnerability assessments, adaptation planning, and more”
