Description

Fish Creek Provincial Park particularly, and Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park are very busy year-round parks both intersecting with the large metropolitan area of Calgary. With many picnic sites and group shelters, multiple special events are scheduled within Fish Creek locations each year. Activities such as picnicking, and large group outings such as weddings and reunions generate large volumes of solid waste that continue to increase annually with the additional population that utilize the Parks. The Province requires Solid Waste Services as set out in this RFP. The anticipated duration of Services is from April 1st, 2026 until March 31st, 2031, with the possibility of extension.
