Description

Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique School District 93 (CSFBC SD93) requires general student transportation services for eligible students attending the following schools:

1. école Océane in Nanaimo,
2. école Des Grands-cèdres in Port Alberni,
3. école Au-cœur-de-l’île in Comox and
4. école Mer-et-montagne in Campbell River in British-Columbia, Canada.

There are twelve (12) routes operating in this area. The expectation is that proponents have had previous experience and a demonstrated track record in this field.

The term of the new agreement will be from July 1st,2026 to June 30, 2030, this being a four (4)-year contract with optional annual extension at the discretion of the Conseil Scolaire Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique. Firm pricing (net of GST) is to be shown for each year of the contract.

The prices stipulated in the proposal are to be for each school year of the contract. The first year will commence in July 2026 and end in June 2030, and will exclude winter vacation, spring break, non-instructional days, and all other statutory holidays.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit qualified and experienced Service Proponents to deliver comprehensive student transportation services on behalf of CSFBC SD93 for the period of July through June each year. The CFSBC SD93 is seeking a Proponent capable of managing all aspects of student transportation, including registration, routing, school start-up readiness, daily operational support, route optimization, and specialized accommodation planning, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, privacy, security and customer service.
