Description

Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Terrace, here after referred to as the “City”, invites proposals for the Lakelse Ave Revitalization – 4600 Block.

Substantial Performance for all Work (the construction and associated work which the City seeks to be provided by the Proponent, as listed below) is to be achieved no later than August 31, 2026.

The Contract contemplated as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Unit Price Contract, together with the Form of Agreement, Supplementary General Conditions, Supplementary Specifications, and Contract Drawings as provided in Attachment C – Contract Documents of this RFP.

This RFP applies to and governs the preparation of Proposals for the Contract listed above. The Contract is generally for the following summary of Work:
 Work is within the 4600 block of Lakelse Avenue from Emerson Street to Kalum Street
 Removals of existing pavements, tree stumps drainage piping, lighting, and other infrastructure
 Replacement of 200 mm water main and services
 Replacement of 200 mm sanitary sewer
 Replacement of storm sewer and catch basins
 Relocation of a Portland Loo public washroom
 Structural soil to support tree growth and overlying sidewalk
 Concrete sidewalk and pavers
 Asphalt pavement
 Street trees and plantings
 Street lighting , catenary lighting and traffic signals
 Concrete foundation for large mural wall art piece
 Site furnishings including benches and tables
