Vegetation fuel loads have increased in proximity to the 70 cottage lot subdivision located in Winagami Provincial Park (PP). Parks Division is looking at decreasing the fuel load at identified locations around the cottage leases, and along the access route in and out of the cottage subdivision. Project Objective: To use FireSmart protocols to decrease vegetation fuel load at identified areas around the cottage lot subdivision, powerline right of way (ROW) and along the sole road access to the cottage lots that travels through the Provincial Park.
