Description

By means of previous RFP 16-1620 and the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant Cogeneration Expansion Project, RFP 18-1721, The City acquired the Power Management Control System (PMCS) proprietary to SEL Schweitzer Laboratories Inc (SEL). The City of Calgary requires the supply of genuine POWERMAX Power Management Control System (PMCS) hardware, software, and associated services to support the operational continuity of its Wastewater Treatment Plants. This Notice of Intent seeks to inform the market of our plan to negotiate a supply agreement with the Supplier listed below to provide like-for-like replacements and critical spare parts that are fully compatible with existing infrastructure.

The scope of this contract includes:
• Replacement of and support for existing POWERMAX PMCS equipment with identical models to maintain system compatibility and minimize operational disruption.
• Provision of critical spare parts (typically one per model per facility) to support preventative maintenance and emergency response requirements.
• Procurement for new construction projects.

Scope of Services and / or Goods: Wastewater has ongoing need to utilize SEL for the following aspect of the PMCS system:
• Critical Site Service Support
• Annual PMCS system maintenance support
• PMCS hardware and software supply + licensing
• PMCS system upgrades
