Notice is hereby given by First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) of its intent to directly award an agreement with the following supplier for the Annual and Semi-annual inspection and testing of the Medical Gas Pipeline system for the Nursing Stations supported by FNHA and repair identified equipment failures for a period of up to twenty four (24) months with a possibility of further extensions.

Services and Deliverables:

The Contractor shall provide the following services:

• Tests in accordance with the Z7396.1-17 CSA Standard “Medical Gas Pipeline Systems".
• Annual medical gas inspection, including inspection and testing of the medical gas pipeline system that includes all outlets, zone alarms, zone valves, and sources of supply and all related pressure switches and alarms.
• Semi-annual inspections, including inspection and testing of the medical gas manifold source of supply; all related pressure switches and alarms are completed by FNHA staff under the guidance of and consultation with the Contractor.
• Within 10 business days after the Annual and Semi-Annual inspections, the Contractor will provide a detailed report of the medical gas system including deficiencies. This report will be provided in a PDF format.
• Repair any equipment failures identified during inspections.
• The Contractor will perform testing at sites including, but not limited to, the following locations:
• Kwadacha (Fort Ware)
• Gitxaala (Kitkatla)
• Git’gaat (Hartley Bay)
• Lax Kwalaams (Port Simpson)
• Tahltan
• Ulkatcho (Anahim Lake)
• Tsay Keh Dene
• Kitasoo (Klemtu)
• Vendors who wish to formally challenge this decision must submit a detailed written objection addressed to Thy Le, by email before Monday, December 15, 2025 at 14:00 PST. The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) will review any objections received and provide them with due consideration. Upon completion of this review, FNHA reserves the right to proceed with either a formal competitive tendering process or to finalize a direct award to a vendor selected at FNHA’s discretion, based on the review’s outcome and what is determined to be in the best interest of the organization.
