Description

The Work generally consists of: Rehabilitation of approximately 4.1 kilometres of Range Road 95 in the M.D. of Provost No. 52, utilizing a Cold Mill and Overlay method. The objective is to restore the structural capacity of the pavement structure to achieve a 25-year design life and accommodate Primary Highway Traffic Weights. The Work involves cold milling to a depth of 50mm, tack coat, and overlay with 50mm compacted depth of asphalt concrete pavement for an approximate area of 43,120 m2.

An onsite Pre-Tender Meeting will be held by appointment. The Bidder shall contact Martin Biro, M.D. of Provost No. 52 Marty Biro, Operations Manager Public Works to schedule a meeting. The intent of the onsite Pre-Tender Meeting is to discuss the project parameters, for Bidder’s to fully understand project constraints, traffic control requirements, and existing pavement conditions (particularly the presence of rutting and cracking) and to take questions from potential bidders. Attendance by bidders at a site meeting is MANDATORY.
