Description

Notice is hereby given by the City of Coquitlam (“City”) of its intent to contract with Oracle Canada for a 24-month period commencing January 1, 2026 for the following services:

1) Oracle e-Business Suite License Technical Support Services Renewal
2) PeopleSoft HCM License Technical Support Services Renewal
3) Enterprise Database License Technical Support Services Renewal

The above services have a combined anticipated total value of $869,472.80 plus applicable taxes.

The City of Coquitlam has chosen not to call for vendor proposals for the following reasons:
1. The vendor has specific knowledge and demonstrated experience of the proprietary software;
2. Manufacturer’s warranty may be void if serviced by unapproved vendors;
3. It is the City’s opinion that there is currently no other vendor able to provide the services; and
4. The impact of introducing a new software and support provider would affect cost and resources

Vendors able to provide the same product and services are to submit information and rationale in writing, quoting the NOI number and name sent to the Attention of the Procurement Manager by email on or before 2:00 pm PST on Thursday, December 11, 2025
