Canada, represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), has a requirement for the provision of professional blast analysis services to support real property
projects at Canadian diplomatic missions abroad. The required services may be related to new construction, retrofit, maintenance, or fit-up activities.
DFATD is looking for expertise in blast hazards engineering on an “as and when needed” basis to help AWLT fulfill its mandate. The Contractor’s work will broadly include blast analyses,
development of mitigation solutions, preparation of construction drawings, and potential site inspections. The Contractor’s work may give rise to the need for the Contractor to subcontract
other professional services such as architectural, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and geotechnical engineering services.
