Description

The North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission (NVRC) wishes to replace the aging cedar shingle mansard roof around the perimeter elevations with a modern looking metal clad mansard roof that compliments the adjacent new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre (CRC) currently being built.

Demolition and construction will need to be coordinated with the construction of new Harry Jerome CRC along the East and North Elevations and may require the successful proponent to focus on the South and West Elevations prior to working on the East and North Elevations.
The Centennial Theatre has shows scheduled in 2026, typically in the evening, so measures will need to be taken to ensure theatre remains accessible to the public and staff. A performance and rehearsal schedule can be provided in advance for scheduling the Work.

Mandatory Site Meeting
A Mandatory site/information meeting is scheduled for November 26th, 2025, at 10 am for the NVRC to discuss its requirements under this ITT. Bidders must attend in order to familiarize themselves with the required scope of Services and as to the site conditions. A Bidder not attending the site meeting will be disqualified and their proposal will not be accepted. Bidders are to wait outside of the employee entrance area of the facility at their assigned time.
