Description

The Province’s Corporate Internal Audit Services (CIAS) provides Deputy Ministers with independent advice on the effectiveness of government programs and operations, alignment of programs to mandate and resiliency and readiness to manage external risk and environmental factors. CIAS is a centralized internal audit function for the Government of Alberta (GoA) formally established by a Treasury Board Directive. The scope of the GoA’s business activity is vast with some engagements requiring leading practice knowledge/specialized competencies in a subject area. As well, additional resources may be required to complete a specific project within target timeframes. The Province is seeking to establish a Standing Offer List for the provision of internal audit services where CIAS lacks the internal capacity or specialized knowledge. Contractors providing Services shall conform with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. *The Province will enter into a maximum of three (3) Master Agreements*
