Description

The Town of Truro will be accepting bid submissions to provide Snow Removal Services for specific Town owned parking lots during the 2025-26 Winter Season. This contract may be awarded in WHOLE or in PART by specific lot number depending on various factors including the number of bid submissions received.

The successful bidder will be required to provide all labour, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete the full requirements of this tender. Each bidder shall submit a complete list of equipment (Appendix B), and the successful bidder will agree to maintain equipment to a level that can be operated in a safe and functional manner without risk to public, employees, and the environment. Equipment will be reviewed to ensure it is appropriate (size, configuration, condition, etc.) for town lots, particularly smaller or irregularly shaped lots. The Town shall have full authority to reject defective equipment, materials, safety devices, and to suspend carrying out any work that is being improperly done. The contractor, however, remains fully responsible for the quality and accuracy of the work.

Sealed tenders are to be submitted on the bid form provided in a plain envelope marked “Snow & Ice removal Tender”, along with Tender number to the Finance Office - 695 Prince Street, Truro, NS, B2N 1G5 no later than 3:00PM Local Time, Wednesday November 19 2025
