Description

The Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services (ALSS), Disability Services (DS) branch, provides support to individuals with disabilities across several programs including the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) program. Adults with complex service needs (CSN) are the fastest growing group of eligible PDD individuals and account for approximately 10 per cent of the PDD program caseload. Individuals classified as CSN pose a significant risk, and/or are destructive to themselves, others, or property. Disability Services is currently seeking an independent review of the Service Delivery Models (e.g. supports and services) of individuals eligible for the PDD program that have been assessed as having complex support needs.
