The Ministry of Attorney General (the “Ministry”), invites interested parties to submit Proposals for the provision of Patrol Uniform Jackets to the Ministry’s BC Sheriff Service
(“BCSS”).
Patrol Uniform Jackets are to be provided on an as, if, and when requested basis and no representations, commitments or guarantees are made with respect to the timing, number or value of orders
that may be requested from the Contractor over the term. A Contract established pursuant to this RFP does not confer an exclusive right to provide Patrol Uniform Jackets to the Province. The
Province reserves the right to procure Patrol Uniform Jackets by any other means, including use of other agreements, or by other procurement or contracting methods.
The Province previously procured the 5.11 Valiant jacket model. To maintain consistency across departments, ensure uniformity in field operations, and streamline inventory, this opportunity is
solely for the supply of the 5.11 Valiant jacket model meeting the specifications set out in this RFP.
The Ministry requires Patrol Uniform Jackets to be delivered to the Delivery Locations (i.e. 41 BCSS offices located throughout the Province). Each order will specify the
required Delivery Location(s).
The Province intends to enter into one (1) Contract with the highest scoring Proponent who meets all mandatory criteria and minimum scores.
The anticipated term of the Contract is two (2) years with the option to extend in the sole discretion of the province for up to three (3) additional terms of up to one (1) year each
for a maximum Contract term of five (5) years.
Unless an exception applies as described in Section 2.28 (b), as a condition of Contract finalization the successful Proponent will be required to provide the Province with a Tax Verification
