Description

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by West Hants Regional Municipality (WHRM) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Little River Bridge Construction

The Deliverables
a. Bridge span – 30m
b. Bridge width – 4m
c. Capacity – 10 ton
d. Steel sub-frame (w/ 12” flange) and bracing
e. Wooden deck with side rails
f. Engineered stamped footing plan tied into existing trail on both ends
g. Engineered stamped bridge design

Detailed Scope of Work
• Remove existing bridge
• Site excavation and preparation
• Concrete foundations for bridge complete with engineered stamped drawing
• Install steel frame bridge and complete decking and side rails.
• The contractor is responsible to provide complete engineered drawings and design documentation for the bridge decking and side rail systems associated with the steel frame bridge. All drawings and information shall be prepared and stamped by a professional engineer.
• Site clean-up and final walk through with WHRM
