The scope includes the complete supply and installation of Feeder Building 1, covering its structural components, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and
control room raised flooring. It also encompasses site infrastructure such as grounding, duct banks, manholes, stormwater and drainage systems, sanitary lift station, and final site grading
with access road construction. Occurring at the Newell substation in Burnaby, BC.
Proponents (“Bidders”) are invited to attend an optional Site visit as follows:
November 7, 2025, 13:00 pm local time
6855 Beresford Street, Burnaby
Meet in front of the gate off Beresford St.
Pre-Registration: Pre-register for the Site Visit by emailing the Contact Person at least three working days prior to the Site visit date. Include the name, title, employer, Bidder represented
(if applicable), email and contact number of each attendee.
Safety Protocol
All attendees are required: All attendees are required to comply with BC Hydro’s safety rules and regulations as directed. Each attendee must supply their own hard hat, Fire-retardant
high-visibility clothing, gloves, hearing protection, safety eyewear and safety footwear to approved Workers’ Compensation Board (BC) standards.
Delivery or completion date is January 30, 2027.
