Description

The purpose of this RFP is to secure a reliable and competent Contractor(s) to supply and install a steam / condensate system for the Agrivalue Processing Business Incubator, APBI, at Leduc, Alberta.

APBI is compliant to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, CFIA, regulations. All personnel including contractors are required to follow food safety practices (no exposed jewelry) including appropriate attire (hair and beard nets, etc.) while traveling to the work areas.

The successful contractor’s workers must attend site orientation training in addition to completing an online training module. The training module quiz can be completed offsite and submitted by email or in person.  

a) Project Background The supplied and installed steam / condensate equipment will support the installation and operation of an industrial scale spray dryer. All work to be governed by Best Practices, the Alberta Boiler Safety Association will be invited to conduct a mid-installation review in addition to a final compliance inspection.
b) Project Objectives To conform with existing maintenance procedures, parts and consumables inventories – deviations from the requested equipment part numbers are not possible.
c) Related Project Documents Mechanical drawings and schematics, Steam Drawings and Bill of Materials Package will be emailed the proponents

Drawing M2 contains relevant Bill of Materials, BOM, that detail equipment specifications.
