Description

A study of the windows and doors is needed to expand on the BECI completed in FY23/24. The consultant is to review available information on the existing windows and doors, attend the site to investigate the existing conditions including whether the glazing units and doors are insulated and the window and door frames are thermally broken. If doors are proposed to be replaced they are to comply with the current version of CSA B651 Accessible Design for the Built Environment. Consultant is to provide a report and ascertain recommended options for replacement, phased replacement plan, associated costs and energy savings for the best option. Class D estimate to be included for any recommendations.
