Description

The Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services (ALSS), through Procurement and Resource Management – North Zone, is inviting Proposals to deliver employment Services tailored to adults living in, or waitlisted for, Civida or other social housing in Edmonton. These individuals may face multiple barriers to employment, including life instability, financial insecurity, lack of childcare, health challenges, lower levels of education, low skill levels, limited attachment to the labour market, and the impact of past or current trauma. To address these complex needs, Services will be located in Edmonton and delivered through itinerant, on-site, near-location, or community hub-based models at the identified Civida locations, O’DayMin Village and Bader Tower, as well as other community housing with on-site supports. This approach is intended to improve accessibility. Projects will provide a holistic, person-centred approach to local employment Service delivery, with areas committed to making long-term and sustainable changes to local systems that will deliver improved outcomes for individuals experiencing multiple barriers to labour market attachment. Proponents are advised to pay careful attention to the wording used throughout this EOI. Failure to satisfy any term, condition, or requirement of this EOI may result in rejection of the Proposal. This Expression of Interest (EOI) is a grant selection process and is not intended to be considered a solicitation pursuant to Alberta Government’s Procurement and Sole Sourcing Directive or other trade agreement obligations. This EOI serves to provide grant funding to entities that align with the goal and intent of this initiative as determined at the discretion of the Province. It is expected that two grant agreements will be awarded as part of this EOI.
