Description

Kneehill County is issuing a Request for Tender for the supply of one (1) Class 8 Highway Tractor with a 12’ Two-Way Plow, side wing, and Muni-Box to be delivered Free on Board (F.O.B.) to the Kneehill County Maintenance Shop (205 1st Ave, Three Hills, AB). The desired delivery date for this unit under the contract is ASAP after January 1, 2026.

The unit shall be a standard production model Class 8 Highway Tractor, rear-wheel drive, with a +400 horsepower diesel engine, a 12-foot two-way snow plow, and a 14-15ft Municipal Combination box to be used in the maintenance and clearing of county roads during winter, as well as hauling and spreading gravel within the County roads. The Vendor is responsible for delivering a fully equipped unit with compatible components to provide dependable, efficient service. The highway tractor shall be new only. Kneehill County will NOT accept demonstrators or previously used rental units.

Please note: Kneehill County is willing to look at new in-stock units.
