Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) requires the services of a private sector economic forecasting supplier to develop customized macroeconomic and industrial scenarios over a
10-year horizon at the national and provincial levels.
The objectives of the project are to:
1.2.1. Develop customized detailed macroeconomic and industrial forecasts that support the specific needs of the Canadian Occupational Projection System (COPS) projections and the 3-year
Employment Outlooks.
1.2.2. Provide expertise on historical, current and future macroeconomic and industrial trends at national and provincial levels.
The period of the Contract is from March 01st, 2026 to February 28th, 2027, inclusive, with the possibility of 4 additional option years under the same conditions, as this is a yearly
requirement.
1.2.1 This procurement is conditionally set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business. For more information on Indigenous business requirements of the
Set-aside Program for Indigenous Business, refer to Annex 9.4 of the Supply Manual.
This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Indigenous peoples or for set-asides for small and minority
businesses, only if two or more responsive bids are received from Indigenous businesses.
Further to Article 800 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CFTA does not apply to this procurement, only if two or more responsive bids are received from Indigenous businesses.
