Description

The City of Prince Rupert is looking to engage a contractor to complete the necessary site preparations prior to the supply and installation of a new treatment facility at the PRL. The PRL requires leachate treatment improvements to meet year-round compliance with the PRL’s provincial permit and federal regulations. This phase of the project involves grading the site and pouring a concrete slab with piping. The installation of the new treatment facility is outside the scope of this assignment.

Scope of Services
The services will comprise due diligence work for the Project including, without limiting:

(i) Site Layout and Grading – Including clearing, grubbing, stripping, common excavation and fill, and granular gravel base. Contingent works for rock excavation.
(ii) Site Drainage – Including installation of ditches and culverts to facilitate adequate drainage.
(iii) Concrete Slab – Including base preparation and installation of piping.

An optional meeting ("Information Meeting") for Respondents will be held at the following time and location: Date: October 29, 2025 Time: 10:00AM Location: Prince Rupert Landfill Maintenance Building
Respondents are not required to pre-register but are requested to contact the Contact Person by the end of business day 24 hours before the scheduled date for the Information Meeting to provide details on the number and names of individuals attending.
Personal protective equipment, including safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and CSA-approved foot ware is required.
