Description

ʔaq̓am’s Lands and Natural Resource Department is seeking quotes to support timber salvage and wildfire restoration work. Anticipated work activities include timber harvesting/processing, road upgrading/building, rehabilitation and fire guard re-habilitation from fire suppression activities.

The scope of work includes the following:
- Approximately 18,700 m3 of ground based harvesting/skidding /processing and decking (~184 ha). o Quoted as $ / m3
- Approximately 38,700 m3 loaded and hauled to acceptable mill. (Skookumchuck or Elko) o Quoted as $ / m3
- Re-habilitation of all newly constructed roads (~2,670 m) o Quoted as $ / metre
- Fire guard Re-habilitation (one fire guards, ~800 m). o Quoted as $ / metre
- Rehabilitation of newly constructed landings (26 Landings) o Quoted as $ / Landing.
- Employment for two ʔaq̓ amnik cultural monitors to be on site for the project, as needed. o Quotes as $ /Hr.
- Road maintenance/upgrading as needed.
