Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Cowichan Tribes to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Architectural Design Consultant.

The Cowichan Tribes (the “Nation”) is taking steps to renovate the Khowutzun Sul’hween Elders Building located at 5764 Allenby Road, Duncan. The Nation is seeking to engage private sector firms with experience and proven capacity to deliver Architectural layout and design services. This request for proposals (RFP) has been issued to evaluate prospective firms with demonstrated capacity to assemble a team of professionals to complete the redesign of the Khowutzun Sul’hween Elders Building.

The Cowichan Tribes is seeking proposals for an architectural team to provide for design services to redesign the interior building space. This project may require a Proponent with a team experienced in working with structural, electrical and mechanical engineers including experience in health services projects. The proponent will be expected to provide solutions for as many of the needs identified as possible within the project budget. Expect an iterative approach.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting Tuesday October 27, 2025 at 2:00pm local time
The Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting will occur on site at the Sul-hween Elders Building located at 5764 Allenby Road. To submit a proposal to this RFP you must attend, and attendance will be taken. Any proposals received from a firm with no personnel in attendance will be rejected.
