Description

The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified consultants to undertake the services described in Appendix ‘A’ to this RFP (the “Services”) with respect to Unit 2 Linac replacement and vault renovation, including the associated control area. Unit 2 room number is 2552. The control area includes rooms 2553,2553A,2553B,and 2552A in Vault.

The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor consultant.

Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural and code.


Only architectural firms that have been prequalified by the Authority for Acute-Care Projects > $150K are eligible to respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm that is not prequalified for Acute-Care Projects > $150K.

Proponents proposing to use Sub-Consultants for the following disciplines should use firms that are included on the Authority’s pre-qualified list of engineers (pre-qualified for any fee category):
• mechanical
• electrical
• structural
