Notice is hereby given that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued by Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”) on behalf of itself and as an agent for each of the regional BC
health authorities, and in partnership with BCEHS (BC Emergency Health Services) and the First Nations Health Authority, in the fall of 2025. This RFP will pertain to Distribution Services,
with the procurement scope intended to include products sourced from third-party manufacturers or suppliers, and/or manufactured or private-labeled products distributed, whether under their own
brand(s) or affiliated entities.
As part of our commitment to supporting Indigenous participation and economic growth, a percentage of the distribution will be awarded to Indigenous suppliers (details to be provided in the
RFP). This approach aligns with our organization’s values of inclusivity and partnership, ensuring that Indigenous owned businesses have meaningful and distinctions-based opportunities to
promote economic reconciliation in British Columbia. Proponents are encouraged to provide and identify their own preferred Indigenous owned suppliers or alternatively can work in collaboration
with PHSA.
