Description

The Village of Telkwa is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to develop a comprehensive Rural Transit Solutions Plan (RTSP) for the Village and surrounding areas. This plan will provide actionable strategies to address current gaps in public transportation, consider future needs of the community, and enhance mobility for residents within the Village of Telkwa as well as to and from the neighbouring Town of Smithers.

The successful Proponent will provide technical, planning, and operational expertise to develop a transit plan that is socially inclusive, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable. This includes assessing current transit conditions, stakeholder engagement, developing feasible service delivery models, and preparing recommendations for implementation
