Description

Quotations shall be submitted by completing this document and placing it in a sealed, opaque envelope, clearly marked on the outside, “Removal of Three (3) Residential Structures from the City of Charlottetown; Purchasing Officer; 10 MacAleer Drive, Charlottetown PE, C1E 2A1”, and must be received by the Purchasing Officer before 2:00:00 pm local time on Thursday, October 2nd , 2025. It is the responsibility of the bidder to deliver the sealed bid to the address mentioned above before the time indicated. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened.

This RFQ is for the removal of Three (3) Residential Structures from the City of Charlottetown located at 241 and 245 Mount Edward Road and 54 Maple Avenue. The proposal includes to remove all materials from each of the three (3) basements, collapse the basement walls, fill the open areas, and rough grade the site. Any shrubs and bushes, decking and related posts would be removed. Also, the fence between the Sherwood Community Centre and the 54 Maple Avenue Property would be removed to facilitate future maintenance requirements

The Mount Edward Road structures will be the priority for removal (245 first, 241 second). The structure on Maple Avenue will be the third priority. Please note that coordination will be potentially required with Charlottetown Police Service (for traffic control), utilities (such as Martitime Electric, Bell, Eastlink, etc. for conflicts with overhead lines), and Charlottetown Environment and Sustainability for city tree conflicts.

Site Visit Information: Bidders interested in a site visit can visit the properties on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, 241 and 245 Mount Edward Road between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and 54 Maple Avenue between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
