Request for Information for an Online Learning Authoring Software
PHO is required to provide a variety of online education resources targeted at different health care settings, professionals, and practices to support new and ongoing professional knowledge
gaps and skill requirements. PHO’s Capacity Building Team requires a reputable online learning authoring application to develop new, and update existing, online learning products available on
the PHO Learning Management System.
The following are some core functions of the system:
• A system allowing collaboration to speed course development and meet annual operational priorities and deadlines.
• Form-based and free-form -design tools to enable development of interactive modules, ungraded knowledge checks, graded quizzes, embedded multimedia, and branching scenarios.
• Access to stock assets including photos, templates, icons, and more to support development.
• A tool for course reviewers, both internal and external to PHO, to provide feedback.
• Access to support such as live and on-demand online training with experts.
• Simple account management.
• Design and development tools that allow authors to edit and update existing courses built in Articulate storyline and Rise.
PHO is seeking information on authoring tools.
