The National Capital Commission is seeking a contractor to provide patrol services and visitor attendant services for Gatineau Park.
The visitor attendant will provide customer services in Gatineau Park parking lots to support the cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow biking trail fee program.
The patrol service will operate a patrol program to assist all users who require assistance on the trail network. The patrol shall be structured to effectively resolve, in a timely manner,
problems ranging from minor injuries (such as cuts and scrapes) to serious problems such as hypothermia, fractures, heart attacks, and major trauma. The patrol shall also be responsible for
informing users of the regulations and code of ethics in effect.
