Description

Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to extend its existing contract with Resolver Inc. for the provision of a SaaS cloud-based solution that is currently the City"s standard for security incident reporting and security data management, serving as a key tool to support the City"s security operations.
Since 2019, the Resolver Inc. solution has been implemented at the City to support: City Protective Services operations; Park Board Recreation security; Arts, Culture, and Community Services; the Citywide Public Conduct Program; and the Citywide Fire Safety compliance framework. Resolver Inc. is the exclusive licensed provider of the WAVR-21 threat assessment module used by the Threat Management Team in their operational assessment process.
Since initial implementation at the City, the Resolver Inc. solution has been customized to fit the City"s specific requirements. Reasons for direct award: ensuring business continuity; further centralizing security operations; and expanding current functionality to include digitization of standard operating procedures, flexible user licensing; and enhanced threat management reporting to support Public Conduct Expectation initiatives.
TERM: five (5) years.
The five (5)-year contract is valued at approximately $633,000CAD, plus applicable taxes, for software licenses and related professional services.
