Description

Following the recommendations of WSP Canada as their short term testing detected radon concentrations exceeding the Health Canada guideline exposure limit (detected values ranged from 200 to 600 Bq/m3),it is required to Install a radon mitigation system within two (2) years if the rooms with elevated radon are to be used as occupied spaces and radon concentrations cannot be lowered through ventilation changes.
Consultant shall arrange for destructive testing to determine whether a slab depressurization system if appropriate for this building. The consultant will design a suitable radon mitigation system based on the information given to them and the needs of the building occupants.
