• Reconnect Health Services (Reconnect) is a large multi-site non-profit community organization located in the west end of Toronto that provides an array of health services to support over 7000 seniors, caregivers, and individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges each year. Reconnect employs around 450 staff who work out of multiple office locations across the city, in client homes, and in the community.
  
  Reconnect is seeking an experienced Food Services provider, preferably one who has history working with non-profit organizations to provide food services to clients in a select number of its programs.
  
  One such program offered by Reconnect is the Adult Day Program operating out of 2 sites. This program caters to seniors or adults with disabilities. The program provides supervised social, recreation and therapeutic programming daily from Monday to Saturday (depending on the site). Some attendees may require therapeutic diets.
  
  The Short-Term Crisis Bed (STCB) site provides temporary room and board for individuals all year round, including weekends and on Statutory holidays.
  
  Health and Wellness programming offers social, recreational and exercise-based programming for older adults and seniors at various locations. A Friday lunch delivery is required at one site on a weekly basis.
  
  The total meal volumes may fluctuate on a daily basis with maximum total weekly volumes (at all locations combined) being up to 762 meals and 336 snacks. Additionally, at the Adult Day Service locations, there may be special food orders for celebrations of special events such as birthdays in which case additional items may be requested like a birthday cake, or dessert items like a fruit tray. This happens twice monthly at the two Adult Day Service locations.
  
  Reconnect aims to select and begin engagement with the successful proponent by December 1, 2025 for a 1-year period with the possibility of extension.
