City of Prince George (the “City”) invites bids from qualified contractors who can demonstrate the appropriate experience, knowledge and availability needed for the renewal of end of
service life mechanical systems at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre (PGCCC) and the Two Rivers Art Gallery (TRAG).
The PGCCC will require replacement of the indoor chiller with a new rooftop exterior chiller, in addition to a new Building Automation System (BAS).
The TRAG will require replacement of the air handling units, chiller, pumps, Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes, humidification system and fire alarm system replacement to meet the Government of
Canada Heritage A building requirements for precision temperature and humidity controls.
Construction services will require mechanical, electrical, structural and general construction expertise. Construction is required in Spring 2026 to accommodate seasonal heating and cooling
system construction windows, long lead times for mechanical equipment and limitations from building use and operations.
This solicitation may lead to sequential or concurrent negotiations with one or more Bidders offering the lowest bid(s), or to the creation of a Contract without negotiations.
