Description

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following:

Upgrades and improvements to the Saanich Peninsula Wastewater Treatment Plant (SPWWTP) odour containment and treatment systems throughout the process building and in the primary clarifier and sludge tank headspaces, such that the facilities air exchange rates are increased, air quality in the operational areas is improved, and H2S attack on the concrete tank headspaces is reduced.

A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held at the Saanich Peninsula Wastewater Treatment Plant (SPWWTP) at 9055 Mainwaring Rd. at 10:00 am, August 13, 2025. PPE requirements for site meeting include hardhat, CSA-approved steel-toe boots, long pants/sleeves, safety glasses, hi-vis vest and gloves. Attendees are responsible for providing their own PPE and spare items will not be available. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
