Description

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the City of West Kelowna (the “City”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for the design and equipment supply services from a qualified vendor for Microbubble Aeration Equipment used to oxygenate Rose Valley Reservoir (RVR)

The scope of work includes designing a microbubble aeration system for the Rose Valley Reservoir to meet specific oxygen delivery requirements and support water quality at the intake for the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant. The successful proponent will design the system using City-supplied air compressors, select and install appropriate air diffusers and ancillary components, and ensure the system provides targeted hypolimnetic oxygenation without disrupting stratification. Deliverables include equipment supply, optional installation, testing, commissioning support, and operations and maintenance training. Quotations that offer alternate designs will be considered if they meet or exceed the City’s technical objectives and include detailed justifications.
