Description

It is the intent of the Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care to select up to two (2) organizations to provide the facilities and services required to support the provision of new Level II Nursing Home beds, specifically: 144 bed facility in Kings County, and 96 bed facility in the Town of Westville, Pictou County The intent of this RFP is to obtain proponent(s) capable of constructing the facility according to Appendix G - Facility Design Requirements, including space requirements, Infection Prevention and Control ("IPAC") considerations, and energy efficiency targets, in a manner feasible within the delivery timeframe, and operating that facility for the duration of the Service Agreement.
