Description

The Work to be completed under this Contract generally includes the supply of all labour, materials, tools, and equipment to complete road resurfacing work on Victoria Street and Shore Road, Town of Digby, Nova Scotia. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Summary of Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

.1 Resurfacing existing asphalt paving: (a) on Victoria Street, between the Digby County Rail Trail crossing and the south side of the Raquette Road intersection, and (b) on Shore Road, between the south side of the Raquette Road intersection and approx. 55m south of the Digby Visitor Information Centre south driveway entrance (including the Raquette Road intersection).
.2 Milling and disposal of existing asphalt on Victoria Street. Milling and disposal of existing asphalt on the Raquette Road intersection. Some milling and disposal of existing asphalt, in defined patches, on Shore Road.
.3 Some new asphalt paving to widen part of Victoria Street.
.4 One pavement infill patch on the north side of the existing campground driveway entrance on Victoria Street. Some pavement infill for Shore Road milling patches.
.5 Painted pavement markings for the area resurfaced.
.6 Reinstatement of all disturbed surfaces.
.7 The Victoria Street work is located as shown on drawings: 23-TDIG-VICST / Reissued for Tender / July 2, 2025 (Revision 3) by Snow Owl Consulting Inc.
.8 The Shore Road (and Raquette Road intersection) work is located as marked in situ (with quantities surveyed by DeWolfe & Morse Surveying Limited, June 2025). The Shore Road work (including the Raquette Road intersection) begins immediately north of the northern extent of the Victoria Street work shown on the project drawings.
