Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of West Kelowna (the “City”) to qualified Consultants to provide ongoing inspection, structural assessment, and maintenance planning services for a portfolio of eight (8) vehicular and pedestrian bridge structures in West Kelowna.

The Consultant will provide comprehensive inspection, assessment, and maintenance planning services for eight vehicular and pedestrian bridge structures in West Kelowna. Deliverables include conducting routine and detailed inspections in line with BC Ministry of Transportation standards, updating bridge condition ratings and urgency indices, providing photographic documentation and standardized reports, identifying deficiencies, and recommending prioritized maintenance actions. The Consultant must also prepare cost estimates, establish implementation timelines, and coordinate with provincial authorities as needed to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and support the City’s long-term infrastructure planning and budgeting efforts.
