Description

This contract offers an opportunity to deliver essential forest road maintenance and construction services within the BC Timber Sales, Strait of Georgia Business Area, primarily near Canal Main in the Port Alberni area. The successful contractor will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including emergency storm response, structural road and bridge repairs, drainage improvements, and minor new road construction.

The work is dynamic and varied, requiring a responsive and well-equipped team capable of mobilizing quickly and maintaining high standards of safety, environmental protection, and workmanship. Contractors must be prepared to manage multiple project areas, respond to changing priorities, and collaborate closely with Ministry representatives and qualified professionals.

Deadline for receiving questions is 4:00 pm on July 22, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by July 24, 2025.

Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.

If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.

The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Unverified bid results will be posted to BC Bid after tender opening and once awarded the contract award results will be available on BC Bid.
