Description

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) supports and coordinates large scale emergencies and disasters with first responders, other local governments, non-profit organizations, provincial ministries and agencies for the region. We are activated to provide additional resource and capacity to assist with response and recovery efforts as well as ensuring impacted communities are sufficiently taken care throughout the event. From time to time, the EOC requires expertise and services from qualified professionals, Contractors, and equipment operators to carry out its objectives and goals of saving lives, protecting communities, critical infrastructures and reducing impacts to the environment and economy. The RDOS is inviting interested qualified professionals, contractors, and equipment operators (Respondents) to complete this ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) to build a roster of contacts for the EOC. Respondents are encouraged to use innovation to provide a proposal that meets the needs of the Regional District and adds additional valve to the project.
